INDICATIONS

I-LID ’N LASH^® VET is intended to maintain proper ocular hygiene by helping remove debris and crusts from around the eyes while reducing facial odors. This product can be used on companion animals that are predisposed to tear stains and facial fold odor as well as animals suffering from Dry Eye. I-LID ’N LASH® VET has been specifically formulated with human quality manufacturing standards and materials because we believe that pets deserve the highest standards of care available. Do not use if your pet has broken or abraded skin.

TIPS & TRICKS

The best results are obtained if the product is applied and not rinsed off. It is also recommended to shave off existing stained fur for optimal results. This product will not remove existing stains but will prevent new stains from forming, as well as lessen the existing stain. For more severe eye debris and discharge, use the I-LID ’N LASH^® VET Pump to apply product, in order to soak into the fur for a couple minutes before trying to remove the debris as this product will help soften the discharge and make the removal easier. For the best results, it is recommended to shave off existing stained fur.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Probably the best product on the market for cleaning tear stains

I have had two vets recommend this and having tried a few other products, this is the best. The severe crust that my dog would get on her eyes took me at most two attempts to remove. First i applied and let it soften the crust. Then after a while, i could get most of it up. A second application got the rest. If you don't fall behind like i did, then it works even better. My dog seemed to tolerate it very well.

It works

Great product although it seems a little pricey. It's the only product I've found to easily remove eye matter from Shih Tzu long hair.

This is working better than other stuff, so far

My Brittany has tear stains, unusual for this breed. I tried all sorts of stuff: changing her food, water, adding suggested foods, and just cleaning with saline solution, cotton ball and toothbrush. The best was the saline solution method, but then it just got worse. The vet suggested this product and, oh my! It really helped. She still has gunk near her eyes, but it is so much better now. I rub directly on the fur using the cotton and then sometimes use the toothbrush (I make sure I clean it well after each use) and may follow up with a little bit of the saline solution. So worth it for me.

Great for crusty eye boogers. Tips for application

I'm so glad I found this product. Our yorkie has allergies and dry-eye, resulting in cement-like eye boogers that were nearly impossible to remove with a warm wet washcloth. I have found the best way to use this product is use the warm wet washcloth first, with gentle rubbing and really soaking the crusted area, then apply this product and massage it in. Wait a minute, and use the wet washcloth to gently remove the crust. It works really well and my dog actually likes having her eyes cleaned now--no more pulling on her eyelashes during cleaning. PS--if you suspect allergies, ask your vet if you can give your dog an antihistamine every day. This has helped reduce how often I have to clean my dog's eyes.

Amazing Stuff

This is pretty impressive stuff. I apply it liberally to my pug's face around his eyes when he has a buildup of face gunk. He's an old man now and has an assortment of eye issues so sometimes they can crust up a bit. I let the cleaner sit for a few minutes and then everything just wipes right off. It works many times better than water, and it doesn't seem to hurt if I get it in his eyes. I highly recommend you try this if you're dog has eye crust problems.
